Let’s admit it, we live in a society where we are overwhelmed with information.
It doesn’t help that information is becoming more and more accessible with one click on the internet. While collecting data is important, there is a growing need to understand and analyze information. We need to stop rush jumping into conclusion. We need to do more critical filtering of what we are hearing, reading, and observing.
This video and article from Brainpickings reminds me that we have to go even further than just analyzing information we consume daily. We have to spend more time taking a step back and reflecting. How often have you done that with any information you receive? Probably, not that often.
